HUB Ballroom Tribute Dance

Since the HUB Ballroom Exhibit opened at the Princeville Heritage Museum in March, the response has been outstanding. Visitors from all over Central Illinois have visited the museum to take a step back in time and remember the HUB Ballroom in its heyday.
Now the museum is excited to announce the HUB Ballroom Tribute Dance on Saturday, May 22. Many visitors to the HUB Exhibit mentioned how much fun it would be to have a dance at the museum to celebrate the history of the HUB.
So the date is set, the band is hired and tickets for this tribute dance are on sale. Eldon Hirstein’s Band Senior Moments will treat museum guests to Big Band, Latin and 40’s dance music.
The Princeville Lion’s Club will be grilling out for the event. Pork Chop and Ribeye Sandwiches along with all the fixings will be for sale from 4pm to 7pm. The museum will be selling souvenir HUB T-shirts and souvenir HUB booklets.
Tickets are $12 per person and $10 for museum members (museum members must purchase tickets at museum to receive discount). Tickets are available at Princeville Heritage Museum, Princeville State Bank and on-line at http://www.princevilleheritagemuseum.com/.
Tickets are limited, so purchase your tickets early.

  1. After several decades have passed, the popularity of ballroom (Denver, co)events never fades. Even the younger generation are so into ballroom dancing.

Both dancers and audiences attending (Denver) event(s) center get hot whenever the best dancers flash their best moves. Actually today, anyone will get amazed with the new generation of dancers. They experiment with new moves like cha-cha combined with hip-hop. This dance step surely gives a new flavor for people.

I'm so glad to know that the generation today is preserving this art form which will become part of our history and culture. Even if time passes, ballroom dancing will never fade.
